The Energy of
Movement, Breath & Awareness
The style of yoga I offer...
is gentle and based in awareness. It invites you to inhabit your body through inner presence - sensing and responding to what’s happening within - and to meet yourself exactly where you are, with compassion.
Through stillness, breath, movement and practices that engage the body's subtle energy systems we explore the inner landscape - to release tension and encourage health and healing, to supports deeper alignment, balance and integration across all levels of being and to connect with that quieter, wiser part of ourselves that is our essential nature.
This practice honours the whole being: physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual. It is spacious, meditative and grounding, offering a pathway to stability, clarity, harmony and inner peace. Approached in this way yoga becomes more than a practice - it becomes a way of being, a way of living life and a way to remember, return to and realign with what matters most.

Who It's For
This style of yoga is for anyone who longs to slow down, listen inwardly and reconnect with a deeper sense of self. It’s for those who may feel overwhelmed by the pace of modern life, want to create more space for themselves, or who sense there is more to their experience than meets the eye.

It’s especially supportive for:
-
Those in transition or seeking clarity
-
People feeling disconnected or depleted
-
Sensitive, intuitive souls who thrive in gentle spaces
-
Practitioners interested in the energetic and spiritual dimensions of yoga
-
No flexibility or previous experience is required - just a willingness to show up with curiosity and care
-
This is a practice of coming home to yourself

My Yoga Journey, Lineage & Influences
My yoga journey began before I was born - in my mother's womb with her maternity yoga practice. As a child, I attended yoga classes and delighted in the enchanting tales from 'Arabian Nights' woven into the class. Later, as an adult, I explored various traditions, attending both Iyengar and Kundalini yoga classes. Over time, I found myself most at home in the practices of the Satyananda Yoga tradition.

My approach is rooted in this lineage and the teachings of Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales, where I lived for almost nine years. During that time, I was immersed in holistic yogic living - a life of spiritual service that included daily chanting, mantra, karma yoga and deep inner inquiry. These experiences continue to inform and nourish my teaching today. My work is further influenced by the energy work of Prune Harris - amongst others - and my own evolving understanding of subtle energy, shaped through years of personal experience and inner exploration.
