When you book a class, workshop, retreat or session with Embracing Peace, here’s what you need to know:
Privacy, Data & Confidentiality

Your personal information is kept safe and confidential. We only use it to support your participation in Embracing Peace services, and never share it without your consent

Bookings & Payments

Full payment is normally required at the time of booking.

If a deposit or part-payment option is offered, the balance must be paid by the date given — otherwise your place may be cancelled.
Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel more than 48 hours before a session, we may be able to reschedule.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the start of a session/event are non-refundable.

Retreats and workshops may have their own cancellation policy (see the event details).

If we ever need to cancel, you’ll be offered a new date or a refund.
Online & In-Person

Online: you’re responsible for your internet connection, space and equipment.

In-person: you’re responsible for travel, punctual arrival and belongings.

We’ll share any venue or health & safety requirements in advance.
Health & Well-Being

Please make sure you’re fit and well enough to take part.

A health form will be required before joining yoga, retreats, or mentoring.

Always consult your doctor if you have any doubts about your ability to participate safely.

You join at your own risk — we cannot give medical clearance.

4 Services Terms and Conditions
Embracing Peace

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Embracing Peace (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including yoga classes, workshops, retreats, coaching and mentoring, and soul midwifery.
By booking or attending any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. General Booking Terms

- Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- We reserve the right to change pricing, session availability, and formats at any time.

- Packages or bundles may have expiry dates which will be communicated at the time of purchase.
2.1 Online vs In-Person Services

- Services may be delivered either online or in person, depending on the offering and your selection at the time of booking.

- For online sessions, it is your responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection, a private and quiet space, and appropriate technology (e.g., Zoom, camera, microphone).

- We are not responsible for interruptions caused by connectivity issues or technical failures on your end.

- For in-person sessions or events, you are responsible for your own travel, punctual arrival, and personal belongings.

- Any health and safety requirements (e.g. physical readiness, local guidelines, venue-specific rules) will be shared in advance and must be followed.
2.2 Non-Payment of Balance

- If your booking involves a deposit or part-payment, the remaining balance must be paid by the due date communicated at the time of booking.

- If we do not receive your balance by the stated deadline, we will assume you no longer wish to attend, and your place may be cancelled.

- In this case, any payments already made will be treated in line with our cancellation policy.
3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Client Cancellations:

- Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may be rescheduled at our discretion.

- No refunds or rescheduling for cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the session or event.

- Retreats and workshops may have their own cancellation policy, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
Provider Cancellations:

- If we cancel or reschedule a service, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Health, Liability & Personal Responsibility

- You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure you are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to participate in any service.

- You agree to disclose any relevant health conditions or concerns before participating in yoga, coaching, or any related session.

- You participate entirely at your own risk.

- If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns, you must consult your doctor or medical professional before participating. Embracing Peace is not qualified to assess your fitness to participate safely.

- We accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage, except where required by law.
5. Service-Specific Terms
A. Yoga Classes, Workshops & Retreats

- Participation requires a signed waiver.

- A separate health form will be required before attendance.

- Accommodation and food, where applicable, may be provided by third parties. We are not responsible for their services.

- We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour disrupts the group or facilitator.

- By attending, you consent to respectful group participation.

- We may occasionally take photos or video during group events for promotional purposes. You will be informed beforehand and may opt out.
B. Coaching & Mentoring

- Coaching and mentoring are not a substitute for medical, legal, therapeutic, or financial advice.

- You are fully responsible for your decisions, actions, and results.

- Sessions may be delivered online or in person.

- Package structures, session lengths, and booking timelines will be communicated in advance and may change with notice.
C. Soul Midwifery

- This service is spiritual, emotional, and therapeutic in nature, offering relaxation, comfort, and a sense of well-being.

- It is not a replacement for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.

- While many people find the work supportive during times of emotional challenge, Embracing Peace does not offer crisis support or clinical intervention.

- You retain full responsibility for your own mental health and well-being. We strongly encourage you to seek appropriate professional care if needed.

- We are not licensed medical or psychological practitioners.

- All sessions are offered in compassion, dignity, and non-judgement.

- Confidentiality is held sacred, with the same legal exceptions noted above.
6. Data Collection & Confidentiality
